ITINERARY:
Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Arrive at the Delhi airport, where our representative will be waiting to escort you to the hotel. Your tiredness will fly in seconds by the traditional welcome that you will be getting at the hotel's reception. Check in and relax amidst the world-class hotel facilities.
Day 02: Delhi
Post a healthy breakfast at the hotel head for a guided tour of the magical city of Old Delhi. Let the ancient monuments like the Jama Masjid , India's largest mosque, Raj Ghat , memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Humayun's Tomb , Parliament House, Red Fort, Dilli Haat, Chandani Chowk and the Presidential Palace.
Day 03: Delhi - Corbett National Park
Move on for a 6-hour drive to Corbett National Park. Ideally located at the foothills of Kumaon Hills , Corbett National Park is a home to various animals like elephants, chitals, jackals and so on. Go for a game drive in the afternoon.
Day 04: Corbett National Park
Early morning and afternoon are considered ideal to go on jeep safaris through the Corbett National Park. Have live enclosures with some animals like wild cat, tiger, gharial and so on.
Spend the night at the forest bungalow amidst the chirpings of birds and roars of wild animals. Get up early in the morning and watch out for spectacular sunrise.
Day 05: Corbett – Delhi
Morning head for a 6-hour drive back to Delhi. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit to the Red Fort and enjoy the sound and light show there. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 06: Delhi - Sawai Madhopur
Post breakfast, you will be transferred to railway station to board the train Golden Temple Mail to Sawai Madhopur, a gateway to Ranthambore National Park. Check in at the forest lodge after arriving in the erstwhile gaming reserve of the Maharajas. Relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay in Sawai Madhopur.
Day 07: Ranthambore National Park
Go for an early morning jeep safari in the beautiful wildlife sanctuary. Have a chit chat with the forest wardens and get to know more about the developmental and conversation projects at Ranthambore. Return to the lodge for an overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Day 08: Ranthambore National Park - Jaipur
Having a healthy breakfast at Ranthambore, head for a 4-hour drive to Jaipur. Also, known, as the "Pink City", Jaipur awaits your arrival during Beasts and Forests Tour. On arrival, check in at the hotel and either rest for the rest of the day or go for a stroll in the market.
Day 09: Jaipur
Having a healthy breakfast at the hotel and move on for a sightseeing tour of the pink city. Amber Fort , City Palace and Museum , Jantar Mantar Observatory , Hawa Mahal , Birla Temple , Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort are places worth visiting during the Beasts and Forests Tour. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 10: Jaipur - Bharatpur
Having breakfast at the hotel, head for a 5-hour drive to Bharatpur to visit the Keoladeo Ghana National Park . Watch out for rare species of birds including the migratory birds at Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Later check in at the hotel and rest for the rest of the day.
Day 11: Bharatpur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Post breakfast at Bharatpur, go for another bird sanctuary tour either by foot or by cycle-rickshaw. Return to the lodge and have lunch. Leave for Agra enroute Fatehpur Sikri, the ancient city built by the great Mughul Emperor Akbar. Places like the Royal Palace , Panch Mahal , Jami Masjid and Buland Darwaza are worth visiting in Fatehpur Sikri.
On arrival at Agra, check in at the hotel. Watching the beautiful Taj in moonlight is an experience of a lifetime, so go for it. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Visit the Agra Fort in the afternoon. Diwan-I-Am and the other royal palaces and royal pavilions are worth visiting in the Agra Fort.
Day 12: Agra - Umaria
Spend half of the day at leisure. Drive to the railway station in the afternoon and board the overnight express train to Umaria.
Day 13: Umaria - Bandhavgarh
On arrival at Umaria, check in at the Jungle Lodge located just next to the Bandhavgarh National Park. Housing a variety of animal species, Bandhavgarh National Park is a treat to all those seeking adventure. Watch different animals and birds in their natural actions and surroundings by going on a game drive through the park. Go on jeep safaris in the afternoon.
Day 14: Bandhavgarh - Khajuraho
Have breakfast at Bandhavgarh and then head to Khajuraho. After arriving at Khajuraho, check in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you wish. Have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Khajuraho.
Day 15: Khajuraho - Delhi
Morning visit the Khajuraho Temples, known for their sensuous sculptures. Rare and exquisite, these carvings and sculptures won't fail to enchant you. Later board the flight to Delhi, on arrival, you will be escorted by our representative to the hotel.
Day 16: Delhi International Departure
Post breakfast board the fight back to your home or to your onward journey.
