Day 01 : Arrive Bangalore
Arrive at the Bangalore airport, where our representative
will be waiting to escort you to the hotel
Day 02 : Bangalore - Mysore
Morning we depart for Mysore, Enroute we will visit
Srirangapatnam, from where Tipu Sultan
ruled most of South India in the 18th century. His defeat
by the British marked the beginning of the Raj in this
region. On arrival in Mysore check-in to a hotel. Afternoon
city tour of Mysore including the fabulous Mysore
Palace, built in the Indo-Saracenic style.
Day 03 : Mysore - Bandipur
Wildlife Sanctuary
Morning drive to Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary, about
90 kms (3 hours) from Mysore, famous
for viewing elephants in particular.
These moist deciduous forests are also famous for their
teak and rose wood. On arrival check-in to a Forest
Lodge.
Day 04 : Bandipur : Morning and Evening
excursions to the park.
Day 05 : Bandipur - Mudumalai
Wildlife Sanctuary
Morning we drive another 3 hours to
Mudumalai. Situated on the borders of Karnataka and
Kerala state, Mudumalai is famous for its spotted
deer, Indian bison, elephants, tiger, wild pig and crocodiles.
On arrival check-in at Forest Lodge.
Day 06 : Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary :
Morning and evening excursions to the park.
Day 07 : Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary - Ooty
A 3 hours drive through the most spectacular scenery
of south Indian forests brings us to Ooty, a small hill
resort. On arrival check-in at the hotel.
Day 08 : Ooty - Coimbatore
Mumbai
Morning transfer to Coimbatore, a 4 hours
drive to board the connecting flight to Bombay. On arrival
check-in at hotel.
Day 09 : Mumbai Departure
Morning half day sightseeing of Mumbai city, including
the Gateway to India, Hanging Gardens
and Prince of Wales Museum. Late evening
transfer to airport to board the flight for onward journey.
