The Bandhavgarh National Park is located in the district of Sahdol in Madhya Pradesh, a central Indian state. The Bandhavgarh National Park lies amidst the Vindhya hills. The park came into being in 1968 when Maharaja of Rewa handed over the area to the government. Soon it became a protected area, where animals flourish in their natural abode.
